Holiday Decorating Workshop
Forget to get out the garlands? Don’t worry—you can deck the halls in no time! Landmark Park will be holding its traditional holiday decorating workshop on Dec. 6., from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendees can enjoy delicious refreshments as they put together festive creations. The planned crafts include:
- Christmas swags;
- Wreaths; and
- Garlands.

Christmas Photo Sessions
Join one of seven Christmas photo sessions ranging from Nov. 21 through Dec. 12, either from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. depending on the date. David Baker will post his horse-drawn sleigh outside of the Waddell House for families to use as a festive backdrop. Bring your own cameras, and photos are free with paid gate admission!
Victorian Christmas
It’s the year of 2020 vision, so it makes sense that the present is also looking to the past. See how people used celebrate the holidays at Landmark Park’s annual Victorian Christmas event. It will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 13. There, you can:
- Go shopping for gifts and food;
- See Santa;
- Hop on a wagon for a ride;
- Try some hot cocoa or apple cider;
- Sing along to classic Christmas carols; and
- Eat delicious desserts, like the ones the Victorians enjoyed.
Finally, if you want to give back, you can bring nonperishables with you. They’ll go directly to a food bank to feed those in need this holiday season.
