Dothan City Schools unveiled new elementary mascots

Local elementary students are howling in celebration! Dothan City Schools unveiled new elementary mascots last month to the delight of the entire school system.

About the new mascots

Since Dothan City Schools unveiled new elementary mascots, there are now 10 new members to the Wolf Pack. According to reports, the concept came from the collective voice of the students who in their words, “want to be wolves!”

The re-branding project focused on 10 elementary schools in the district. New logos were designed featuring each school’s colors and characteristics, with one common appearance. You guessed it—a unique wolf pup!

Reports also shared the project was a true collaboration among the teachers, staff, students and Rhodes Branding, the South Carolina-based marketing firm tasked with bringing the feedback and ideas to life. After months of input and votes from students via coloring sheets, the logos were revealed in late April.
