Dog Days on Foster, Sept. 23rd 

First up, this Saturday, on the official First Day of Fall, it’s Dog Days on Foster from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Hosted by Downtown Dothan, head to 140 N. Foster St. downtown for a fun-filled day with your favorite fur baby. 

There will be special pet vendors, dog treats, pupsicles, pet clothes, pet portraits, water bowls lining the streets and much more.

Peanut Boil, Sept. 23rd

Visit Landmark Park on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, from 5 to 8 p.m. for some nutty fun at the Peanut Boil! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for an after-hours peanut boil the old-fashioned way. Listen to bluegrass and enjoy a free cup of boiled peanuts with your admission. 

Farmers on Foster, Sept. 28th

Get your peanuts, produce and pumpkins with a fun trip to North Foster Street on Thursday, Sept. 28th, from 4 to 7 p.m. 

CornDodgers Farm, Weekends Sept. 30th-Oct. 29th

Wagon rides, a corn maze, games, rides, farm animals, a playground, good food and so much more await at CornDodgers Farm in Headland! Located at 1555 Knowles Road, you will find more than 30 attractions, including a brand-new 9-hole mini golf course. 

Headland Harvest Festival, Oct. 13th-14th  

It’s a two-day celebration of local farmers, the harvest season and more. There will be a car show, an art show, children’s activities and rides, arts and crafts, food, live entertainment, a street dance and more at the 52nd Annual Harvest Day! 

Did you know Carriage House Apartments in Dothan is only about 13 miles from downtown Headland? That means you can be harvesting fall fun after about a 23-minute drive! 

Fall Farm Day, Oct. 21st

Music, wagon rides, cane grinding, syrup making, peanut harvesting, soap making and more historic traditions make Fall Farm Day at Landmark Park an annual tradition! 

Low Country Boil, Oct. 26th 

If you like shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, come hungry to the Low Country Boil at Landmark Park this October. 

Fall on Foster, Oct. 28th

This popular, free community-wide event is back! Make plans to visit the 100 block of North Foster Street in Dothan on Saturday, Oct. 28th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be games, food, face painting, costume contests and more.
