The Alabama Food Truck Association is on a roll! As promised, they have delivered a Food Truck Festival in Dothan every month since January.
Now it’s time to make your plans for the May event, which happens to be in conjunction with a special event hosted by Dothan National. Not only is May 7th the Food Truck Festival, it’s also “Cruisin’ the Green at Dothan National.”
That means food trucks, show cars, motorcycles, RC cars and more will be on-site. Plus, there will be a “Swap Meet Area” for arts and crafts vendors, games and bounce houses.
The event is free and open to the public, but don’t forget your wallet for tasty treats and specialty items. Donations will also be accepted on behalf of area charities as well.

The Alabama Food Truck Association, a coalition of food trucks in the Wiregrass and state, was inspired by the food festivals they were traveling to in other cities. So, they decided it was time to get organized and host them in Dothan too.
Hence, the monthly recurring Food Truck Festivals in Dothan was born!
So far, they have been hosted at local businesses such as Hyundai of Dothan and Mercedes Benz of Dothan as well as in the Dothan Athletic Club parking lot and The Plant downtown.
Not only does the location change, so do the participants. But based on past events, you’ll likely find local favorites like SayIt Hot Dogs & More, J’s Shack, A Taste of Louisiana and The Rollin’ Trapp Food Truck —just to name a few!
