Sister’s Soul Express

Sister’s Soul Express in Dothan recently celebrated its third anniversary on Friday, August 12. To add to the excitement, they just opened a new location—the second Sister’s Soul Express—on Reeves Street.

Community leaders, residents, friends, family and visitors alike celebrated the new location’s grand opening on August 8th.

Guests were treated to the same, delicious soul food served at the original location on Napier Field Road.

The menu

Basically, it’s like Thanksgiving every day at Sister’s Soul Express in Dothan. Plus, rotating specials, homemade desserts and sides of the day add extra flavor to the already full menu.

Diners can come back again and again for comfort food served at it’s finest. Entrees included baked chicken, fried chicken, chicken tenders (grilled, blackened or fried), pork chops and country fried steak—just to name a few.

Add in two sides and the warm cornbread they bring to your table, and saving room for dessert may be harder than you think!

When it comes to sides at Sister’s Soul Express, you can find all the good Southern favorites. There’s fried okra, green beans, mac and cheese, dressing, mashed potatoes, butter beans and yams for starters.

Desserts range from banana pudding to key lime cake to strawberry cake to caramel cake. Sister’s Soul truly has something for everybody—from the kids to the health nut (they have salads too.)
